Singer songwriter Kenyan accoustic chill from Nairobi.

A songwriter of preeminent distinction and recognition within the Kenyan music industry, Njoki Karu has gained acclaim over writing songs such as Omba, Holes, and putting her own heart-rending twist on old spiritual songs, Binadamu, as well as Bwana U Sehemu.

Her music has been featured in numerous Kenyan films since her joining and graduating from Berklee College of Music, more notably Rafiki, Country Queen and This Is Life.
