We didn’t go to the location but ordered for delivery via the house of woodfired app which was easy to use, pizzas arrived fast, piping hot and with very cute little notes on the boxes. The diavola and margherita pizzas were delicious with puffy, wood fired char exactly how we like them. We didn’t get a photo of the gorgeous chocolate brownie, mainly because we ate it sooo quickly- highly recommend.
We have already recommended to our friends and people visiting Diani, we will be back on our next visit.

Ordered pizza for delivery. Came burnt. Not enjoyable for the most part. The potential was there. The crust had flavor. But vegetables and chicken toppings were just not it. I had high hopes.

Went on Monday evening in the off season. The pizza is amazing, so
So tasty. They have a little sandy play area for kids, a decent bathroom, some board games to play with comfortable seating. I would bring bug spray next time but otherwise is a was a great dinner out! I would go again to try the poke bowls.

Went in on a Tuesday evening at 7 PM

I wanted the vegetarian poke. They were out of tofu and avocado.

I ordered mushroom pizza instead. They were out if mushrooms.

I ordered vegetarian pizza. They asked what size, I said small. They were out of small. I got large.

The pizza was fine.

Afterwords, they asked if I wanted anything else. They had two dessert options. They were out of one of them. I ordered the other – a brownie with ice cream. They were out if ice cream.

Outdoor seating area with music. And mosquitos.

Servers were friendly.

A very nice place, just a bit hidden. I went inside at the path and first time didn’t see the restaurant. Today I had a rice bowl there. It was surprisingly good. The furniture from pallets and looks like everything made with love. I enjoyed and will come back.

Very good dough. Fresh garlic in garlic bread.
Very cool local area and super nice cozy environment.
Love it!

PS. The only thing I would recommend is adding more tomato passata on the dough before cheese and rest of ingredients so it can give more taste.

The pizza is on point… And prices for drinks etc are very reasonable for Diani. The service was also super friendly, attentive and professional. The only thing to consider is the location, as it is in a popular area of town, which means that the atmosphere is less calm and a lot more dynamic than other parts of Diani. That being said, if you crave great pizza, this is the spot!

My wife and i went to get a late dinner. The pizza was most likely the best Neopolitan style pizza you’ll find in Kenya. Words don’t describe how authentic and tasty the pizza is at House of Woodfired. Service was pretty good. Our waitress came to the table pretty quickly and took care of our needs. Our drinks came quickly. Food was to order and came pretty quickly. Since there is only one oven the pizzas came out one after another. All of them were hot and ready to eat. One large pizza can feed two people for a light meal. Since we ordered two large pizzas we ended up taking some of our pizza home because it’s very nice and filling. I would reccomend that you stop there at least one time while visiting in Diani Beach.

I was positively surprised by getting a whole pizza as garlic bread. The dough was amazing, but it was a bit dry. With some olive oil / butter and salt it would have been perfect.

Very nice, chill ambiance, super kind people, comfortable chairs. Garlic bread and pizza were delicious. They have a selection of good wines. 2 dogs that the owner take care of add to the fun! Definitely worth a try.

Had the loveliest Saturday lunch with my bestie and daughter, and this spot truly delivered! We ordered pizza and it tasted so fresh and homemade, like a cozy hug in every bite. The service was top-tier, the ladies were so kind and attentive. What made it even more special? We got to watch the pizza being made right in front of us, such a wholesome experience. The aesthetic? Chef’s kiss, cozy, beautiful, and so well thought-out. Definitely a new fave spot. We’ll be back!

Suggestion: it would be amazing to see an expanded drinks menu with milkshakes, fresh juices, and maybe a few sides to accompany the pizza. That would make the experience even more complete!

Finally, a great pizza in Diani!

No matter how fancy the restaurants in Diani are, the pizza has always been disappointing until now. This new spot near Ukunda Airport is a real game-changer. We ordered two pizzas, even requested half-and-half, and they delivered without hesitation. Super friendly staff and delicious, crispy Neapolitan-style pizza. Highly recommend it if you’re craving something authentic!

Great little restaurant with a fun ambiance. Was impressed to see they have Catan. Service is also excellent. The pizza was fantastic. Wish they had a seafood pizza option but what we got (the meaty one) was great all the same. Will definitely be back.

First time we visited them the food was great, cosy vibe and so nice people working there. Second time we got the food delivered home. The pizzas where still smoking hot when delivered and the quality was so good like if we ate there. If you come to Diani you must try this! We tried all the restaurants in town and this was definitely one to recommend!

Have eaten pizzas in many places, but these guys outdid themselves.
The were simply fantastic, with a woody taste to it.

About end of march i was craveing Pizza while on Holiday in diani! After a short research we found this little place near diani Airport. The Pizza there is just delicious! Even italians could learn from those guys! Full of flavour, quite place, cold drinks, hot pizza! The place itself is a little beach bar with a container but worth the visit! It‘s ordering is self-service but the pizza when ready will get brought to your table. But sonce the place was not over crowded it‘s totally cool! Best pizza i had in a long time! And the prices are super fair! Highly recommended!

Delicious Food and Great Atmosphere at House of Woodfired!

We recently visited the House of Woodfired, and it was a delightful experience. The restaurant offers a fantastic selection of pizzas and bowls, both of which were absolutely delicious. The ingredients were fresh, and you could taste the quality in every bite.

The restaurant is wonderfully pet-friendly, which was a great bonus for us. The staff were incredibly polite and welcoming, making us feel right at home. They also offered a range of tasty drinks to accompany our meal.

One unique aspect of the House of Woodfired is that their pizzas are made one at a time since they currently have only one oven. As a group of four, this meant our pizzas took a little longer, but the wait was well worth it for the fresh, flavorful results. After our meal, we saw the owners discussing plans to upgrade to a larger oven—a great example of their proactive approach to enhancing customer experience.

The seating is cozy and charming, with comfortable pallet furniture where you can relax with your feet in the sand. Overhead, strings of lights create a relaxed and inviting ambiance, making it a perfect spot to unwind.

We were also introduced to the restaurant’s concept of integrating remote workspaces, which adds an interesting dimension to the experience. If the accommodations are as excellent as the food and service, they are definitely worth checking out.

Overall, House of Woodfired offers a unique and enjoyable dining experience with delicious food, a warm atmosphere, and attentive service. We highly recommend it and look forward to returning soon!

A real 10! The very cozy space, the excellent service and the delicious pizzas! It is essential to order the brownie, the best I have ever eaten. There is parking and the Uber can leave you there without a problem.

Lovely addition to the variety of pizzas available in Diani Beach. Unlike Jolly Pizzeria, Leonardos or Havana, here you get Pizza _only_ – but its quality and taste make up for that just fine.

What can I say, for being thousands of kilometers from home, the pizza isn’t bad at all! The most surprising thing is the quality and fragrance of the dough, thanks to a high-performance wood-fired oven and an attentive pizza chef. Lastly, the environment is really nice, relaxed and clean, but I recommend a tuk-tuk to reach the place. After this experience, Italian mistakes on the menu can also be allowed 🙂

It has comfortable seating, a sports bar with big screen, a pool table, mini golf and games including Jenga, Catan and more to keep everyone occupied.

Our pickup and delivery location. There’s also some benches so that you can stop by for a pizza on the way to/from the beach.
